Terry Spahr represents New Hampshire’s Grafton 12 District encompassing Lyme and Hanover. He serves on the Ways and Means Committee and is a member of the Emerging Technologies Caucus.
A Philadelphia native, Terry graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters in Government Administration. A successful career in the insurance, financial and real estate fields taught him the importance of listening to what is most important to others and taking action to ensure their goals are achieved.


In 2018, Terry wrote and produced an award-winning feature length environmental documentary, 8 Billion Angels, and subsequently founded the environmental non-profit, Earth Overshoot, with the goal of achieving a safe, just and sustainable world.
Terry is actively engaged and involved in many Upper Valley charitable and social organizations including the Norwich Racquet Club, the Upper Valley Seed Savers, LISTEN and the Hanover Conservancy.
